Hyperliquid whale tracker: how to watch the biggest wallets
Updated 26 Oct 2026Hyperliquid whales are watched more than any other traders in crypto, because every one of their positions is public. Here is how to follow them on JoinEm, and how to read what you see.
Three ways to watch whales
- Named wallets. Wallets with a public name, from press-tracked traders like James Wynn and Machi Big Brother to traders who named themselves on Hyperliquid's leaderboard, such as BobbyBigSize. Each page shows the account, perp P&L, positions and latest closing fills. All named wallets.
- Ranked whales. Copyable traders with accounts of $500k or more and a profitable 90-day record: whale ranking.
- By market. What ranked traders hold in each coin, long vs short: markets.

Reading whale moves
- Famous isn't consistent. Many of the best-known wallets have lost tens of millions over their lifetime. Their pages say so in the first line.
- A whale's position can be a hedge. Big traders often hold the other side elsewhere, so one Hyperliquid wallet can show only half the bet.
- Size moves prices. A whale's entry can be the top of a move. Copying it late can mean buying from them.
- Names are attributed, not verified. We show where each name comes from on the page.
