How to find consistent traders on Hyperliquid
Updated 26 Oct 2026"Consistent" is the word everyone uses and few define. Here is how JoinEm defines it, why each part is there, and who passes today.
JoinEm's Consistent type
A trader is Consistent when, over 90 days:
- they win 55% or more of their trades,
- their profit factor (everything won ÷ everything lost) is 1.5 or more,
- their perp trading never fell more than 20% below its high, open positions included,
- they made 20 or more trades, and
- no single trade carries the record.
Why each rule is there
- Win rate alone lies. A trader who never closes losers can win 90% of closed trades. We count open positions at today's price, so an unclosed loss counts as a loss.
- Profit factor catches the opposite: many small wins wiped out by one big loss.
- Drawdown is what a copier lives through. Two traders with the same return can have very different falls on the way.
- Enough trades separates a record from a streak. Records under 30 trades are tagged "few trades".
- No single trade: if one bet made most of the profit, it is luck as much as skill. Those wallets are typed Lucky and aren't ranked.

What consistency doesn't promise
We check every ranking a month later. On past data, the top half of the ranking stayed profitable about as often as the bottom half: a good record describes the past and rarely repeats on its own. Use the ranking to understand traders, not as a list of whom to copy. Why copying profitable traders often fails.
